What this does, and what it does not
Plain talk, no tall tales. Project Brackish is operational record keeping. It helps you keep the kind of records that would survive an audit. It does not do the filing for you.
What it does
- Keeps production records: sites, growing units, stocking, cycles.
- Keeps husbandry records: pH, temperature, dissolved oxygen, mortality, treatment.
- Keeps harvest records with weights, locations and the rules you acknowledged.
- Keeps inventory lots, and links them to the sale that shipped them.
- Tracks permit renewal dates and links you to the issuing agency's own page.
- Exports your numbers as spreadsheets for a business plan or your bookkeeper.
What it does not do
- It does not file anything with any agency. Nothing here is submitted on your behalf.
- It is not legal advice and it is not a compliance guarantee.
- Permit costs shown are planning estimates. Confirm every one with the agency.
- It does not replace the records your state or buyer requires in their own format.
- It does not sell, share or broker your farm data.

What it costs
- Using this site: free. It is an open beta and an example build. No card, no trial clock, no upsell waiting at the end.
- Your own custom build: quoted at Driftline rates for design and build work, based on what you actually need.
- Trade or scholarship: if money is the only thing in the way, say so. Trades and scholarships are real here, not a footnote.
