Who we are

Project Brackish ("we", "us") operates the farm-and-production operations platform at projectbrackish.org and projectbrackish.org. We build software for worker-owned aquaculture and agriculture cooperatives.

What we collect

• Account information: email, display name, and the company/workspace you join.
• Operational data you enter: harvests, inventory, orders, farm sites, tasks, and similar records.
• Usage data: page views, the routes you visit, basic browser/device info, and country-level location (from IP). We do not sell this data.
• Diagnostics: error reports and feedback you submit through the in-app feedback tool.

How we use it

• To operate the platform — sign you in, scope data to your company, and process the records you create.
• To improve the product (anonymous/aggregated analytics, bug triage).
• To respond to support requests and account-related communications.

How we store and protect it

Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (managed Postgres + storage) with row-level security enforced per workspace. Access to production data is restricted to the project owner. All traffic is served over HTTPS with automatic SSL.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with the infrastructure providers we depend on to run the service (Lovable Cloud / Supabase for hosting and database, Cloudflare for edge delivery), and with third-party services you explicitly connect (e.g., email delivery).

Cookies and tracking

We use a single first-party session cookie for authentication and a privacy-respecting, self-hosted page-view counter. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your account data or deletion of your account at any time by emailing the address below. If you are a member of a workspace owned by someone else, contact the workspace owner first; we cooperate with verified deletion requests.

Children

The platform is intended for use by adults operating commercial farm and harvest operations. It is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

We will post material changes to this policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
