Brackish
Ops software for farmers of every stripe — petal pushers, kelp keepers, and everyone bobbing between. Harvest tracking, inventory, orders, projections, and site management for folks who bloom where they're planted — or frond where they're floated.
Running a full multi-trophic stack? Sugar kelp up top, mussels and oysters below, sablefish in the pens, hydroponic greens sipping the nutrient-rich return water onshore — it all lives in the same ledger.

Where the river meets the sea.
Origin & why
"Brackish" is the water where fresh meets salt — where land and sea negotiate a shared chemistry. Project Brackish started where most tools stop: the working co-ops spanning hatcheries and row crops, kelp lines and vineyards, with almost nothing built for them. Mixed-modality is the whole point, not an edge case.

Where the river meets the sea.
Project Brackish started where most tools stop. The aquaculture and agriculture co-ops doing the most vital work — spanning hatcheries and row crops, kelp lines and vineyards, land and sea on the same lease — have almost nothing built for them. Software, financial planning, permitting, compliance: the market serves deep-pocketed enterprises or weekend hobbyists, leaving a wide canyon in between for the working farms that need it most.
"Brackish" is the water where fresh meets salt — where land and sea negotiate a shared chemistry. It's the right word for ops that span kelp lines and row crops, hatcheries and fermentation rooms, a vineyard and a mussel raft on the same lease. Mixed-modality is the whole point, not an edge case.
The work is collaboratively built and open at the seams — high-touch, enterprise-grade care priced for the folks who need it most. Costs in this industry are opaque, training is expensive, and the tools that do exist assume budgets small farms don't have. We're changing the default. If you grow something and you've felt that gap, this software is being built with you in mind.

One ledger for land and sea.
Multi-trophic? We've got you.
Picture a real IMTA stack: sugar kelp on the top lines, mussels and oysters below, sablefish in the pens, and hydroponic greens onshore fed by the nutrient-rich return water. Kelp pulls nitrogen, shellfish filter, fish feed the greens, greens close the loop — one company, one schema, every trophic level.
Harvest & farm sites
Log wild and farmed harvests with GPS pins, AOA zones, block numbers, and per-site maps — ocean leases and upland acreage in the same view.
Inventory & lots
Track lots through stocking, growth, and sale. Movements, conditions, and traceability built in — from spat to shellfish to sea-vegetable salad mix.
Orders & fulfillment
Customer orders, line items, lot picks, and exports for accounting and audits.
Projections & planning
Forward-look at harvest, inventory burn-down, and order coverage — not just last week's numbers.
Land + sea, one ledger
Run a kelp line, a mushroom fruiting room, and a row of leafy greens from the same dashboard. Mixed-modality co-ops are a first-class citizen, not a workaround.
